Tracking, Shipping, and Delivery Issues as of February 18th, 2021
To All Of Our Wonderful Sunny Smart Family Members:
First off, thank you all so much for your patience and understanding over the last few days. Please know that we are working as hard as we can to get answers to all of your questions.
Our customer service department has been dealing with an unprecedented amount of inquiries due to the severe weather that has impacted most of the United States. We understand your frustrations and we wish we had better answers for all of your questions pertaining to where your package is, why it hasn’t gotten to you, or why the tracking hasn’t updated.
We have been in contact with USPS, UPS, and FedEx multiple times throughout each day for the past week; unfortunately, UPS, FedEx and USPS are experiencing significant delays. UPS, USPS and FedEx are making deliveries in areas where conditions allow them to safely operate. Monday-Wednesday they were not operational throughout much of the country. We are being told FedEx Ground may resume today (February 18th) and FedEx Express & Freight is slowly starting to move and will hopefully be fully functional tomorrow. The safety and well-being of the employees, customers and the drivers who deliver packages are their number one priority.
We have addressed several of the most frequent questions below. Should you have a question that is not answered below, kindly email us with the word URGENT in the subject line and we will get back to you as soon as possible. As you know, incredible customer service is one of the most important things to us here at Sunny Smart and we do apologize for not having detailed information about each and every package. We again extend our sincerest gratitude for your patience and hope you all are safe from both COVID-19 and any of this weather. Thank you for your continued support.
Common Questions
The weather where I live is fine. You ship from Florida, so why is my package not getting to me on time?
Although your specific location may not be impacted by weather, package movement from Florida to your location may be impacted by weather conditions in other areas your package may pass through. UPS, FedEx and USPS have contingency plans in place and they are working to get packages to their final destinations as quickly as possible. I live in Florida, and you ship from Florida, why is my package delayed?
We are being told by the carriers that some packages do in fact leave the state, then come back while others are being held at local sorting facilities due to the volume of re-routed packages coming back through Florida hubs. In addition, we are being told that the delays in shipment are trickling back to the original area, causing an increase in packages not moving, slowing down the entire process no matter where you might be. One example is a customer who lives in Tallahassee, FL ordered on Tuesday and their package has yet to leave the South Florida sorting facility.
My tracking says the label was printed, but there’s no other update. Did my package get to the post office/UPS/FedEx?
All packages have been delivered to their respective carriers, unless when you ordered it stated “Backordered” on your order confirmation. If you received a tracking number, your order has been delivered to the carrier. We have been told that tracking systems are also experiencing significant delays, at times going back as much as three days.
My USPS Priority Express package did not arrive by the date/time it was guaranteed. Can I get a refund?
Yes, if you paid for shipping and your USPS package arrives late, you will be eligible for a refund. Please click HERE to review the Refund Policy on our website.
My UPS or FedEx package did not arrive by the date/time it was guaranteed. Can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, no. UPS and FedEx suspended their delivery guarantees in March 2020 due to the effects of COVID-19. However, Sunny Smart Supplements will be offering compensation for late packages from all carriers.
Will you be offering additional refunds and/or discounts for delayed packages?
Absolutely yes! We are so grateful for your continued support and patience during this time. An AMAZING sale is coming once packages can begin their normal routing process.
Your sodium, sulfate and pre-measured caps say “backordered”? Are you out of stock? What does this mean?
We, too, have been impacted greatly by the shipping issues due to the storms, therefore, we did sell out of most products and some essential supplies. You are still able to check out when items are on backorder, and pay for them if you wish. As soon as our shipments come in, all paid orders will be processed first, and tracking numbers will be delivered.
When will Sunny Smart resume normal shipping?
As soon as possible. Watch our website and look for emails with updated inventory information. We want to get back to business as usual as quickly as we can.
